There is a quiet magic in being present while two families lean in and hold their breath. Max has spent years watching that moment — in parks by the mist of the Falls, in lakeside gazebos, in firelit backyards — and believes it deserves more than a script read from a folder.

Born and raised in the Los Angeles area, Max found his home in Western New York years ago — and as a registered officiant he writes every ceremony like a love letter: personal, honest, and peppered with the details only the two of you could tell. Laughs where the story calls for them, tears where it doesn't, and names that always come out right.

How far in advance should we book?

Whenever your heart says — though spring and early fall weekends fill quickly. A few weeks is usually plenty for elopements; a few months is lovely for a fuller ceremony.

Do you help with the marriage license?

Yes. Max will walk you through what New York State needs, sign your license at the ceremony, and guide you (or your coordinator) through filing it with the town clerk afterward.

What if we're having a destination-style elopement?

Wonderful — this is a favorite. Max happily meets you at Niagara Falls State Park, lookouts, lakeside venues, or wherever the view pulls you, for a ceremony designed for just the two of you.

Can we write our own vows?

Please do. Max will give you gentle, fun prompts if you'd like help — then weave your words with his so the ceremony still flows like one voice.

Do you travel outside the Buffalo / Niagara area?

For venues within New York State and roughly an hour's drive, travel is included. Farther-flung spots in New York are possible — just ask for a quote.
